A simple to insert and securely located plastic plug seal is required when locking the lid into the box body of a container. This ensures that the lid remains in place during transit and acts as a tamper-evident method of ensuring the contents of the box have not been tampered with or removed. The design of the seal will allow for the lid to move slightly laterally, as is normal when boxes are being stacked or are in transit, and strong enough for small vertical drops (up to 0.5 m) without breaking.
