Burst protective sleeves are designed to safeguard hoses from high-pressure bursts. Due to their reinforced barrier that contains and dissipates the energy released during a burst, they are highly resistant to abrasion and tearing and prevent injuries from accidential leakage of high-pressure fluids or gases. Burst protective sleeving is typically used with hydraulic hoses on earth moving machinery and where there is severe mechanical vibration. They are available with diameters from 12 to 125 mm.
