Heat guns are used to shrink heat shrink tubing back to the sizes it was originally made at. Hot-air guns are designed to produce flameless heat which makes them the ideal tool to apply a variety of heat shrink tubing, wire markers as well as molded shapes, heat shrink boots, transition shapes, end caps and cable repair sleeves. Gas guns are used for medium wall heat shrink tubing whilst thin wall heat shrink tubing can be shrunk with an electric heat gun.
