Technical Description	HellermannTyton’s FSP738 fibre splice protectors are specifically designed for the mechanical and environmental protection of fused fibre splices. The 45mm splice protectors consist of clear heat shrinkable tubing to allow for visual location of the splice prior to heat shrinking with a pre-installed stainless steel (3A) reinforcing rod. Each splice prtotector is fitted with an anti-vibration band. The tubing has a wide operating range -45°C to +100°C and a full recovery temperature of 120°C.
