    Technical Description The FRBU 16 port connectorised M length closure is an IP68 dome closure manufactured from UV stable polypropylene with a base configuration of 16 round ports and 1 oval port which accommodates cable diameter ranges of 1.7 – 9.5mm (R Ports) and 4.0 – 15.0mm (LM port) when using Cablelok mechanical seals.

    The closure mounting system is manufactured from Grade 304 stainless steel and supports 2 x Hellapon Small splice trays, the adaptor management plate, a fibre storage basket and adaptor shield. The lower Hellapon Small splice tray is fitted with a single 3A splice bridge and a PLC splitter bridge which houses 1 x 1:8 bare end to LC/APC PLC splitter, the top Hellapon Small tray is fitted with 2 x 3A splice bridges. The adaptor plate and shield houses 2 x LC/APC quad adaptors and the outputs of the 1:8 PLC splitter is routed and fitted into the adaptors.

    The base has an integrated closure mounting point which can be used with the FRBU moulded mounting brackets for mounting on a wall, pole or Mobra arm and allows the cover to be removed and the closure to stay in place during installation or maintenance.
