RapidNet ULTRA12 Tethered Cassettes are designed to facilitate transition from a single MTP connector into small form factor (SFF)or very small form factor (VSFF) connectivity patching array. Cassettes are factory terminated and tested offering best in class ultra low loss connectivity for rapid deployment of ULTRA12 fibre systems, supporting the increasing demand on parallel optics. Tethered Cassettes offer lower insertion loss compared to typical cassette and backbone cable configurations. The compact design allows for a ultra high density installations to be realised, maximizing critical connectivity real estate. RapidNet ULTRA12 Cassettes are designed to be compatible with future VSFF connectors such as CS and SN which will take the fibre capacity from 12 fibres (LC) to either 18 fibres (CS) or 24 fibres (SN). Tethered cables can be produced to your required length with single or double jacket constructions.Tethered cassettes are made with 3.0mm single jacket cables which contain Corning® SMF-28® fibres for Singlemode and ClearCurve® fibres for Multimode. Cables conform to B2ca-s1a, d1, a2 CPR EuroClass. |
