M-BOSS is a heavy duty and high speed marine grade stainless steel (S316) marker plate embossing printer.
The are two marker plate options that can be embossed; a bridge version for fixing to pipes and cables with a HellermannTyton cable tie up to 8mm wide, and a rivet version with a 3.5mm hole for riveting or screwing into a flat surface.
The raised surface of the embossed print ensures that the text remains visible even with dirt, grease, and paint cover the marker.
The physical characteristics of the metal and the height of the embossed mark allows users to apply a stiff or metallic brush to the surface and remove excess layers of paint or grease without damaging the integrity of the text.
The M-BOSS Printer is easy to install and run, and is both quiet and clean.
There is no need for an air supply as the printer is electrically driven and operates from an ordinary office power source; the printer will work on offshore platforms using a 60Hz power source.
The printer uses a cassette system for managing the print of the markers and the cassette can then be taken by installers to their place of work.
The marked strips can be “fanned out” from the magazine to quickly identify which marker is needed.
