Expandable braided sleeves are flexible cable management solutions made from materials like polyamide or polyester. These sleeves can expand and contract, accommodating various cable diameters, while providing protection against abrasion and other environmental hazards. They are commonly used to organize and bundle cables in applications ranging from electronics and automotive industries to home and office setups. HellermannTyton offers a variety of sleeves made from from Polyamide 6.6 (PA66) and Polyester (PET, PBT), also combined with tin-platted copper for EMI-shielding. Next to the regular polyamide braided sleeving there are sleeves with many different features available including flame-retardant Polyester sleeving and high-expansion braided sleeving.
